Custom homes on Bay of Quinte

The Bay of Quinte stretches along the north shore of Lake Ontario from Trenton to Picton. Lakeside CM has an active build at Sherman's Point and works across the region. the Bay of Quinte is one of the lakes Lakeside CM works on across the Bay of Quinte region. We run owner-side construction management for custom cottages, boathouses, and full lakefront residences on its shoreline. Every project on the lake faces the same set of variables, setbacks, shoreline class, dock licensing, and the practicalities of getting concrete, steel, and trades to a remote lot. Our job is to compress those variables into a build schedule that holds, a budget you can read, and one accountable manager you can phone on a Saturday in July. On the lakes where we have completed a recent project, we'll show you exactly what we built and what it cost. On the lakes where we are actively quoting but have not yet broken ground, we'll be honest about that too. We do not invent client work to pad a service area page.

Permits & approvals on Bay of Quinte

Permits and approvals on the Bay of Quinte run through the local township and, depending on the shoreline class, either the Ministry of Natural Resources or the local conservation authority. In-water work requires a Transport Canada review on most navigable waters. We start every engagement with a permitting walkthrough so you know, before design is locked, what is achievable on your specific lot. Setbacks, lot coverage, dock licensing, and septic siting are usually the four variables that determine what your build can actually look like.
