Custom cottage builder in Ontario's lake country

We manage custom cottage builds on the hardest lakefront sites in Ontario, islands, sloped granite shorelines, conservation-authority lakes. Owner-side, fee only, every trade quote on your desk.

What a Lakeside cottage build actually looks like

Most of our cottages are four-season, between 3,500 and 9,000 square feet, on lakes where access is the first hard problem. We build with materials that survive a cottage country winter, Douglas fir, local granite, clear cedar, ICF basements, standing-seam metal roofs. Every cottage is custom; we do not work from a plan book.

Lakefront-specific construction we handle

Helical screw piles, poured concrete foundations on bedrock, ICF basements, shoreline setbacks, conservation authority approvals, dock and crib work, septic siting, well drilling, off-grid solar, propane and generator backup, smart home wiring run from a buried fibre service.

Why owners hire us instead of a GC

On a custom luxury cottage builder engagement with a traditional GC, every upgrade you choose is marked up. Choose smart glass over standard, pay the margin. Switch to clear cedar from grade-A, pay the margin. The owner-side model removes that conflict entirely.

Where we build

Lake Muskoka, Joseph, Rosseau, Lake of Bays, Kennisis, Drag, Stoney, Chandos, Pine Lake, Bay of Quinte, Parry Sound waters, and southern Georgian Bay. If your lake isn't listed, we have likely been on it, ask.

Almost exclusively. The structural, mechanical, and envelope detailing for four-season use is non-negotiable on the budgets we work at.

Yes. We have built on Bass Island in Lake Muskoka and have worked through every logistical problem an island build creates, barge scheduling, winter ice roads, on-site concrete batching.
