Cottage renovations and additions across Ontario

Inherited cottages, three-season cottages going four-season, mid-century lakehouses needing a thoughtful addition. The renovation work we take on is consistent with what we build new: structurally serious, lakefront, custom.

Where renovations get hard

Legacy cottages were rarely permitted as built. Once a wall comes off, the township gets to weigh in on the whole structure. A cottage addition contractor who has not navigated that conversation before will lose months to it. We start there.

Three-season to four-season

The most common large renovation we manage: a legacy cottage being upgraded for full-time use. Envelope rebuild, mechanical rebuild, often a foundation replacement under the existing footprint.

Additions and rebuilds

Sympathetic additions to original lakehouses, full second-storey adds, detached guest cabins, bunkies sized for grandchildren.
